Ray used to sleep like this when he was a baby. We have lowered Emma's mattress in the crib since she is so tall and was able to see over it a little when she sat up. With her pulling herself up and trying to walk now, we lowered it last weekend. It makes it a bit harder for me to place her in bed, but Ray is tall so it is easy for him. When I went to put her in, she rolled to her side and then went to her belly and stayed there. Ray then placed her in a better position and our baby girl blessed us by sleeping through the night : )
