Well, it has been a trying few days. After Emma had the seizure Wednesday, her temperature spiked over 102 and she started trembling again, so we went back to the ER to make sure she didn't have another seizure. They gave us a different regimen to use with the Tylenol and Motrin, and that has kept her fever in check. As of 4am, she has not taken any medicine, and her temperature has been normal. She has been her happy, loving self, so hopefully she has kicked the virus for good.
As for me, I feel like I have a head cold that will not go away. I will likely feel that way until Wednesday when they take the splints out of my nose, and even afterward I am not supposed to blow my nose for a month. One side of the nose seems to have healed quickly, but the other side is still pretty nasty, and hopefully it will heal up in the next few days. Thank God I haven't had to sneeze yet, I am not sure how much damage one of those would do!
