Happy Rainy Halloween

The girls were looking forward to trick or treating door to door like they have every year of their lives.  Unfortunately, for the first time their fun was thwarted by severe thunderstorms.  Luckily for us, Aunt Pat and Uncle Gary let us know their church was having an indoor Halloween festival.  The church provided cotton candy, popcorn, drinks, and LOTS of booths where the kids could play games and trick or treat.  They had an inflatable obstacle course and face painting too!  While it wasn't what they envisioned their Halloween to be, they ended up having a lot of fun and filled their bags!

Halloween Parade

Emma and Abby both dressed up and went to school on Friday to participate in the Character Parade.  They got to walk to the other campus past all of the parents and family members.  They felt super special and loved being the center of attention.

Pumpkin Carving

Poppa and Uncle Eric came over to help Dada carve pumpkins.  Emma wanted Snow White, and Abby wanted My Little Pony.  We think they turned out great!

Dance Halloween Party

The girls attend ballet and tap classes at Baytown Dance Company.  They dressed up for class this week so they could have a Halloween party with their friends, and the shared some spooky goodie bags with them.  As you can see, they had fun!

Fall Crafts

Emma's Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Murray has classes for kids every few months.  Sometimes she does cooking classes, sometimes music classes, and, like today, she sometimes does craft classes.  We did not quite know what to expect when they went this morning, but we were very happy with the results!  Both girls made each of the types of crafts shown, which we will be able to use throughout the holiday season this year and for many years after.  They were excited to show off the things they made and were so proud!
