Happy Birthday Dad!

Today we celebrate another birthday, Dad Pheris turns 55 years young! He is the best father, role model, and friend we could ask for. Everyone give him a call and remind him that age is just a number, no matter how high it gets! : D

Happy Birthday Aliceia

Ray and I would like to wish our niece Aliceia a very happy 11th birthday! By now she is enjoying our gift of the latest bath products for teens and hopefully sharing some of it with her big sis and cousin. We hope you have tons of fun this week and weekend as you celebrate your very special day!

Hardworking Daddy

With all the generous gifts that we have received over the past couple weeks Ray has been busy putting things together at least every other night. I get the job of sitting next to him and watching all of his progress while Reggie sniffs everything. It is funny how he reacts to all the different toys!

Emma Update

We had a checkup on Tuesday and things are looking good. Other than me having a bit of a head cold I am healthy and strong. The doctor gave me some meds and reassured us that all is well with Emma even though her Mommy is sick.

Emma is apparently growing like a glamazon. I am currently 31 weeks but measuring 34 weeks, which puts us three weeks ahead in growth. Emma is already experiencing growth spurts and we anticipate she will go through another one, then many more as she grows. With Ray being at 6 feet 1 inch and my own father being 6 feet 3 inches, we are expecting a very tall daughter, Ray is already bragging that his daughter can dunk! He is the proudest Daddy and is already planning her basketball career.

We will be going back in two weeks for a checkup and to see what type of growth Emma has experienced during that time. So keep looking for updates so you can keep up with her progress!

Thank You

Ray and I would both like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who attended the shower on Sunday, May 17th. It was so nice to get to see our family and friends, it never seems like we see each other enough and things will get even more hectic once Emma arrives and we start our adjustment as parents. I just wish I had felt better so I could have done a bit more socializing with everyone.

The shower was lovely and elegant, we received many complements from friends and family regarding the delicious food and cute decorations. A special thank you to Aunt Trish, Cousin Brandie, and Mom Pheris for all of your hard work and thoughtfulness in making this a memorable shower for Ray and I to help welcome Emma. There are never enough ways that we could express ourselves to thank you for all that you did to make the shower so special and sweet!

We are saving all of her cards to create a memory album for her to flip through once she is older so she can read all the warm and welcoming comments from our friends and family. Ray has had a busy time of it in the last couple of days putting things together and we are both enjoying another round of laundry. Reggie has been checking out the new stuff, some of it he thinks are his toys, and others like the swing he just barks and growls at from time to time.

Once again thank you all for everything, we will surely use it all and enjoy every minute of it as we get to know our daughter in the coming months.

Brandie's 1st Mother's Day

Today Emma wished Mommy a Happy Mother's Day by moving around and waking Mommy up at 5:30am. A few hours later, I made her waffles for breakfast, then took her out shopping. We ate Freebird's for lunch, and I will be grilling her a steak for dinner. Emma picked out a nice card for Mommy, and convinced me that Mommy needed a new charm for her charm bracelet from James Avery!

Happy Mother's Day

We would like to wish our Moms a day filled full of love and cherished memories.

To all of our friends and family who are moms we hope that you have a wonderful day and know that you are doing your part to make this world a better place by being the mothers you are.
