Happy Birthday Brandie!

 Today Brandie turned 31 years old!  Some people frown on their birthdays, but not my wife.  She embraces each one and is grateful to be able to start a new year where she becomes healthier, wealthier, and wise!  Below are some pictures from our little family celebration.  Being a one income household and 2 child family, in lieu of going to Vegas or eating at the Republic 1836, we instead stayed home and I made her one of her favorite dishes, King Ranch Chicken, and I made her a chocolate chip cheesecake from scratch.  That's not to say she didn't get presents, in fact the girls and I got her 31 gifts to celebrate and my Mom an Dad got her a new James Avery charm.  We cooked together and watched the Aggie girls basketball team beat Oklahoma.  It was a great day for us to spend as a family!

Abigail Grace 8 Months Old

Our beautiful Abigail Grace turned 8 months old today!  She is measuring in at 29 1/2 inches and 22 lb. 10 oz., which puts her still in the high ninetieth percentile.  She is starting to say more words, such as baba, dada, and momma.  She STILL doesn't sleep well, either for a nap or through the night, but she is getting better each night.  She is a blessing to our family and brings great joy to our lives!
