Emma's Baptism

Emma writing her thank you notes to all the friends and family who came out to celebrate her big day : )

Emma having a great time, being held by Mommy and playing with balloons.

Ray, Emma, and me at her party in the park with friends and family. We had a great time and ate some tasty food provided by her Godfather Richard.

This was a really wonderful day for us as a family and getting to see some relatives that we do not have the opportunity to see often. Thank you to all of you who made it out today.

A little family snapshot of us before we cut the cake and open gifts. I see the three of us and my heart swells with love and my eyes tear up.

Mom, Beulah, and Keith enjoying some of the tasty food that everyone loved. The salsa was hot! Emma really wants to start eating big girl food, but alas she has to wait some time yet.

A beautiful cake to match the occasion, everyone loved it! Fabulous Fare did a great job and now I believe we have a new family favorite to handle all our special occasion needs.

The proud parents holding Emma to get just a few more memorable shots in before leaving the church.

The parents, godparents, and Emma posing with Deacon Ted Baker, who performed the baptism.

Emma having the water poured on her. She was startled a little bit, but didn't cry!

Emma slept through most of the ceremony, showing she can be at ease anywhere.

Cousin Brandie volunteered to do a reading when asked, making the service a bit more personal for us.
