Julius is playing football this year for Beaumont Central.  He is playing center on the freshman team, and this was their first scrimmage of the season.  They played the Barbers Hill JV squad and did well!  Another boy started at center, but after 4 plays he had already muffed the snap twice, so in Julius went and played for the rest of the game.  A man behind us was talking about how well he was doing, even saying he was "glad the GOOD center is in there."  Brandie turned around proudly and said, "That's my nephew!" 

4 Wheel Drive

This toy was bought for Emma last Christmas and lets just say that Abigail grace is taking it over. She loves this little four wheeler. She will ride on it standing up! She will even chase after it if Emma is on it just to make sure she gets her turn on it. I have no doubt that my girls will have no issues with keeping up with their male cousins when it comes to toys of wheels.

Abigail Walking at 15 Months

Abigail Grace is such a blessing and fills our life with constant excitement through her daring exploits to have fun. Abigail has been a really great crawler and can really move fast. Children who tend to be good crawlers tend to walk after 12 months. Well... that is true for our Abigail. She started with pulling herself up, standing for short periods of time, taking a step or two while holding on to the edge of the bed or couch.

But with the spirit of the Olympics our girl as you can see in the pictures above went hard core in her training to walk. Abby would push big sister Emma around the house our one of their riding toys. Let me remind you that Emma is 3 and Abigail is 1. Emma would sit on it and lift her feet and let Abigail do all the work.

Now are Abigail walks all over the place and will climb up and down any surface she can while giving us a scare and herself a laugh. We noticed that she started kicking her feet out when she was walking and decided to go and get her feet sized, she has jumped from a size 3 as of May to a size 5 1/2 now. So Little Bit had to have three new pairs of shoes!

Today marks 19 years since Brandie and I started dating.  We decided to celebrate by going out to dinner at Vic and Anthony's in downtown Houston.  The food and atmosphere were great, and the wine was great.  It is hard to believe so much time has passed wince we met and began our relationship, it seems like yesterday we were sitting in her yard, looking at the stars and telling each other stories.  Now we get to tuck our beautiful girls into bed each night and celebrate our relationship every day!
