Pennies for Pasta fundraiser at my campus helped to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As a campus we raised over $3000.00 dollars and my homeroom class raise the most money on campus! Their reward will be a party catered by Olive Garden.
I am very proud to say that they went out of their way to encourage each other to bring the money and reminded each other that it was for a good cause. This is the same class that brought the most cans for our Thanksgiving food drive!
I guess you could say it helps when they have a very competiative and motivated teacher! But really my students ROCK!
