Abby at 5 months

Abigail turned 5 months old on the 5th.  She measured in at 17lb. 5oz (90th percentile) and 27 1/4 inches (98th percentile!)  She is growing up very fast and is quickly trying to become independent.  She rolls onto her stomach and likes to sleep that way now.  She is not quite going all of the way through the night with her sleep; she needs a quick bottle at 1 or 2am.  She is trying to talk and is making a lot more cooing sounds, and it even sounds like she cries out for Dada when she is upset.  She loves to stand up (with our assistance.)  Daddy will hold her under her arms to help keep her balance, but she has the leg strength to hold herself up for a minute or more.  She is starting to play in the exersaucer, so those legs are getting even stronger.  We think she will be crawling and walking at a brisker pace than Emma did!
