7 Months Old

Our precious Emma is 7 months old today. It seems like yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. So we started are morning off with some bananas (only ate 1/3) for breakfast followed by a 4oz bottle. By 9:00 Emma was ready for a nap which is early for her because she usually takes her morning around 10:00. She laid down on Daddy's side of the bed and took an hour and half nap.

Emma woke up ready to play and have some lunch which she finished her bananas, had some zesty treats, and an apple wheel. We had some tummy time on the mat in the living room. As always she tries to get Reggie's attention as often as possible and tries to bite him at least once a day. She has been running a temp off and on today due to teething but she has been happy and playful all day.

Ray got to come home early from work today and when he arrived home Emma was taking her afternoon nap. Emma woke just in time for her and Daddy to watch the Aggie men beat Tech! Whoop! The Aggie women also had a game today so we went to the Aggie basketball and cheered on the girls as they beat Kansas St. Coach Blair came by and gave Emma some candy which Mommy put away, but she found it later and tried to dig it out of the diaper bag. Emma loves the games and has a blast with all the sounds and lights. At tonight's game she became a bit more vocal trying to cheer on the Aggie's to a win, which they did accomplish even though they scared us a few times.

Now it is 11:15 p.m. and my daughter is playing in her exerciser with a ton of energy! Ray has gone to bed since he has to be up and at work for 7:00 a.m. so its just us girls and me hoping that my daughter tires herself out soon.
