Emma's 2 Month Check Up

Well, the plan was that we would both take Emma for her check up today, but that did not work out. Emma would not sleep in her bed past 3 a. m. this morning, so I took care of her. Needless to say my sleep suffered and I wound up with pains in my shoulders, neck, and head from the way I fell asleep. Plus, I knew she was going to have to get some shots and I can't stand needles or to hear her cry since it tears me apart, so Ray took Emma to her check up today.

The doctor said she was doing excellent and was in great health! She weighed 12 lbs. 5 oz., which puts her in the 90th percentile, and was 23 inches long, which is the 75th percentile. She received 3 shots and an oral vaccine. Ray said she cried for a couple of minutes, but handled it like a champ!
