Well the 1st week came and went in a bit of a blur Roller coaster emotions, and alarm clocks malfunctioning (or Ray just turning if off and not remembering.) The week went well all in all. My students welcomed me back and were on their best behavior. We did practice TAKS testing, which allowed me to clean my room, organize my room, hang things on the walls, sort through paper work, and many more things that would bore the average human.
I am proud to say that I did not cry dropping my Emma off at day care, I did tear up a bit as I got her dressed, but Ray was there to comfort me. We dropped her off together for the 1st time, but now I am trying to figure out the best route and routine for dropping off and picking up Emma since Ray works so much.
The following are some pictures of Emma from this past week. I am trying to take as many when I have the time so I can capture her every change as my life starts to be a bit more demanding and hectic.
Emma today in her pink and red heart outfit. She has been great today, smiling and napping while I try and finish house work and cook meals for the upcoming week.
Emma is enjoying the swing her Memaw bought her. It sure does make it easier on me when she likes to be in it. In this picture she fell asleep watching Gilmore Girls on DVD. As of right now she is not interested in Disney movies, she prefers Gilmore Girls and football with her Daddy.
Emma in a cute pink and white outfit that says "Thank Heaven for Little Girls," and an adorable bow.
Emma in her 1st pair of PJ's and the 1st time with a bow in her hair : ) She will only fit in this cute little set for about another week or so, she is growing so fast!!
Me and Emma the morning of her second day of day care. She got to wear this outfit for about the first 30 minutes of the day before needing to change due to spitting up.
