Santa's Wonderland

As per tradition, we took the girls to Santa's Wonderland to see the Christmas lights.  This year we upgraded a bit and did it via a horse drawn carriage.  It made the trip a bit more intimate, and of course the girls loved the horse!

Christmas Cookies with Aunt Pat

One of our Christmas traditions has become making Christmas cookies with Aunt Pat.  The girls always have a great time mixing the dough, rolling it out, then decorating the cookies afterwards.

Eating with Santa

The girls had the opportunity to eat dinner at their school and meet Santa.  Emma told Santa she wanted a Doc McStuffins Pet Vet toy and Abby wanted a robot.  I wonder if Santa will grant them their wish?

The Polar Express

The girls got the opportunity to ride the Polar Express to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus!  We drove to Palestine and boarded the steam powered train and rode for an hour before making it to Santa's cottage.  Once there, Santa boarded the train for the ride home and talked with the kids and took pictures.  Along the way, we drank hot chocolate, ate cookies, and sang Christmas carols.  It was a fun day!

Senior Night

Our nephew Julius was the starting center for Beaumont Central High School this year.  We made it out to as many games as we could, but we definitely were not missing Senior Night!  Not only was he honored with the other seniors, they played great and won the game to clinch a playoff spot as well!
