Missing you and your healing touch

Missing you and your healing touch

Thinking of the time you came all the way to College Station to be with Emma after a frantic phone call from me with my fears for her, you even beat Ray home from work that day and you were two hours away at work yourself.

Thinking of the times you laid in the girls' bed with them at your house when they were not feeling well and you knew that Ray and I had exhausted ourselves and needed much rest.

Thinking of the multiple times both girls, or one or the other, would lay with you in your bed when they weren’t feeling well just to get Nana’s healing touch.

Well Nana, both of your girls are sick right now and I am missing you and thinking about how you would be over here if you could, sleeping on a pallet of blankets on the floor next to their bed in order to watch over them through the night because they are the center of your universe.

Missing the ability to share my worries and concerns about our girls with you and hearing your calm reassurances that all will be well.

Missing you…
